What I have learned about action research in week 2

This week required a lot more thought into my action research project. From watching videos and the reading I have determined that the best research topic for me needs to be something that is practical to my own situation. The 'wonderings' that develop the best action research plans come from ideas that are real and observed by the researcher. The Dana text points out nine different areas that most action researchers develop their ideas or plans from. the ideas I have chosen primarily deal with curriculum development and management. In the next few weeks I will narrow down my topic and begin developing research ideas and gathering information. This week has been very informative and I found all of the information to be very helpful in developing my ideas.
